On average, 52.6% of participants agreed with all statements describing withdrawal from opportunities relevant to housing because of stigma about mental health issues.

Experiences

Here, the key findings relating to perceived experiences of stigma and discrimination relevant to different types of housing are shown. Generally, perceived experiences of stigma and discrimination were higher in relation to private rental housing compared with public or community housing and homelessness services.

Anticipation

Here, the key findings relating to anticipated stigma and discrimination relevant to different types of housing are shown. Anticipated stigma and discrimination was consistently higher in relation to private rental housing compared with public or community housing and homelessness services.
