Our Turn to Speak Expert Reference Group

A Delphi Consensus quality assurance process was adopted to ensure the quality of the Our Turn to Speak survey. 

This involved recruiting a panel of experts, which comprised 26 people with expertise across a range of sectors and diverse stakeholder groups, including:

  • people with lived experience of complex mental health issues
  • family, friends and carers
  • academics who conduct research about stigma and discrimination linked to mental health issues
  • leaders and service providers from across the mental health, disability, homelessness, youth, health and medical, employment, legal and justice, regional and remote, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, LGBTIQA+, and culturally and linguistically diverse sectors and communities.
